- Hugo Hugo is a static website generator using the Go programming language for its super-fast execution and rendering times. It's basically a single binary file, fed with Markdown-based text-files as a source. A large Theme directory exists as a good entry point for novice users.

- Contao Contao is a free, open-source Content Management System (CMS) written in PHP. Contao is used to build and manage professional websites of different types and size ranges that are easy to maintain. It is based on Symfony, a popular high performance PHP framework for web development. Contao has been designed as a Symfony bundle, which can be used to add CMS functionality to any Symfony application. Contao (formerly TYPOlight) was released for the first time in 2006 by Leo Feyer. Since then it has been continuously developed and it is actively maintained by the Contao Core Development Workgroup and other contributors.

- Gatus Gatus is a config-driven, automated status page with alerting and incident support. It offers monitoring URLs based on a variety of conditions, such as status, response time or certificate expiration, as well as push monitors for services not accessible by Gatus.

- ntfy Send push notifications to your phone or desktop using PUT/POST. ntfy is an open-source push notification service that can be used as a UnifiedPush distributor with a companion Android App. This guide installs the application at ~/opt/ntfy/ with the data stored at ~/var/lib/ntfy. The service is named “ntfy”, uses port 9009 internally and is exposed at up.example.com. It logs to the systemd journal.
- Readeck Readeck is an open source bookmark manager and a read later tool. It allows you to save the content of websites that you like and that you want to keep for as long as possible.
- Traggo Traggo is an open-source, tag-based time tracking tool. It offers customizable dashboards with diagrams, a list and calendar view of the tracked time, and a sleek web interface with multiple themes and simple user management.
- Vikunja Vikunja is an open source, self-hosted to-do and project management app. It ships as a single Go binary with the web frontend embedded, so no extra web server or build step is needed.

- BookStack BookStack is a simple, self-hosted, easy-to-use platform for organising and storing information (wiki). BookStack is specially designed to allow new users with basic word-processing skills to get involved in creating content. However, it offers advanced power features for users who need them.
- Contao Contao is a free, open-source Content Management System (CMS) written in PHP. - Nextcloud Nextcloud is an open-source platform for hosting your own cloud for file storage, syncing, and collaboration. It provides features like file sharing, calendar, contacts, and document editing while keeping full control over your data. It’s ideal for those who prefer privacy, customization, and independence from large commercial cloud providers. Nextcloud was initially released in 2016 as a fork of ownCloud and is maintained by Nextcloud GmbH.
- SnappyMail SnappyMail is a simple, modern, lightweight, and fast web-based open source email client. It is a fork of the email client RainLoop, but with massive changes to be compatible with (mobile) browsers of 2020 and newer.
- Tachyon Tachyon is an open-source webmail client. It is a fork of SnappyMail, but without legacy code. It requires no database, is free of trackers, and supports features like multiple accounts and undo send, while also serving as a Sieve editor. It can function as a drop-in replacement for SnappyMail.

Before you start¶
You will need an Uberspace 8 Asteroid and access to its shell. The Manual's SSH instructions explain how to connect. Each Guide lists any additional prerequisites and the versions it was tested with.
